Big Paws is the Fast-Dogs home for large and giant dogs who need space, structure, and safety to really stretch their legs. It is designed specifically for big bodies, big strides, and big hearts.​

What is Big Paws?

Big Paws is the dedicated Fast-Dogs program and park zone built for large and giant breeds. It focuses on giving them enough room to run, clear boundaries to keep everyone safe, and activities scaled to their size and power.​

Big Paws lives inside the Fast-Dogs system alongside Small Paws and mixed-size programs, but everything—from yard size to pacing—is tuned for big dogs.

Why Big Paws Exists

  • Large dogs are often cramped into small off‑leash spaces that don’t match their stride or play style, which can lead to stress, collisions, or conflict.​

  • Research and best-practice guidelines show that bigger dogs need more square footage per dog, strong fencing, and layouts that let them move without constant body contact.​

Big Paws was created to answer that need: a place where big dogs can run and play like big dogs, without overwhelming smaller dogs or being squeezed into tiny enclosures.

What Big Paws Includes

  • Dedicated large-dog yards

    • Spacious off‑leash areas sized for big-dog play, with strong, secure fencing, double-gated entries, and clear separation from smaller-dog zones.​

    • Thoughtful obstacles and structures that slow play just enough to prevent high-speed collisions while still letting big dogs enjoy full, happy runs.​

  • Big-dog friendly sports

    • Racing formats, games, and training options chosen and modified with large and giant dogs in mind, including safe sprint distances, turning angles, and footing.​

  • Safety-focused design and rules

    • Space targets and playgroup guidelines that reflect best practices for big-dog groups—more room per dog, visible escape paths, and supervision that knows how big-dog body language looks at full speed.​
